Microgreen LED Kit 5W/10W
This kit gives you the parts and options to either attach extra 5W or 10W LED Microgreen lights to our stand (Perspex brackets) or connect directly to a piece of wood e.g a cupboard shelf.
The advantage of these lights are that they are low-power, high quality (Samsung LED), they are only operating at about 80% intensity, due to the losses in the 2m attachment cable, meaning they will last a very long time. They are also extremely water resistant, so any spillage is not a problem and spreading 3 across the top of the trays gives a very even spread of light.

The advantage of these lights are that they are low-power, high quality (Samsung LED), they are only operating at about 80% intensity, due to the losses in the 2m attachment cable, meaning they will last a very very long time (also to note, this is why you can run these lights at 13.8 V which will increase their intensity by 10 to 15% and still not cause the LEDs to fail. They are also extremely water resistant, so any spillage is not a problem and spreading 3 across the top of the trays gives a very even spread of light. These LEDs are a combination of cool and warm, the blue spectrum is good for developing leaves
We recommend using 2 of these for each tray when growing Microgreens, if you want to move on and do something like rocket then you can add an extra light or if using 2 you can use the 13.8 V setting on the power supply.
Another option is to use the 25W, which is overkill for the microgreens but great for small salad greens or even up to a mid-size basil plant.

Here we see what one shelf with the larger of the 2 shelf height options growing Rocket, in this situation using 3 x 5W. lights, the 2 on the outside are positioned at the edge as the Rocket will keep growing and spread out. This kit gives you the parts and options to either attach 3 or 6 5W LED Microgreen lights to our stand or connect directly to a piece of wood e.g a cupboard shelf. 1- is base kit consisting of 3 lights, power supply and cable splitter, 2- is a 2 or 4 brackets for our 340 X340 mm square light stand, 2 types of cable ties supplied, 3- is the bracket that you screw into the wood and then attach the lights to, the nylon washer ensures heat transfer to the wood is kept to a minimum, 2 per light supplied, 4- Opt. extra 3 x 5W LED lights, the base kit can handle 6 x 5W LED lights.

So you get the base kit (what is inside the red line and various options e.g. the power supply and breakout cabling can support up to 6 lights so there is the option of an extra 3 lights, what this means is that adding these gives you the ability to use 2 shelves if using our stand. Also if using our stand you you will need to choose the option of our acrylic brackets, which comes with cable ties allowing for securing the cable in a neat manner and also the attachment of 1 sticky insect trap per shelf or if you want to mount say to the underside of a bookshelf, then you have the option of a clip that can be screwed into the wood on the underside, coming with a nylon washer to create a small airgap for better cooling.
