Pot of herbs LED 100w Stand Tray
This kit is designed to allow you to grow a fruiting or flowering pot plant. 1x(330x245mm)Trays+100w-LED+Stand-3xShelf-Ht.Med.
The difference between this kit and the 25 W. kit is that this light is 100W, both lights have no fan, i.e. no noise. Our aim is to allow you to grow as much as possible using the smallest possible space & least amount of power. So this light would come in handy if you want to grow something that requires more power which is generally something that requires fruiting or bud development. Like the 25W, it comes with a mix of 2 different types of white and 660nm red LEDs.
The easiest way is to purchase the small pots of herbs from your local garden shop or supermarket, this kit will allow you to extend the life of the small potted herbs. You can do this in several different ways as you can see by the various Slides.
Probably the simplest way is just to put them in the base tray and water, feel the weight of the tray with the pots in it when the water has been absorbed and then just add more water when this weight diminishes, but don’t forget to leave the tray dry for a period in between watering this will stop plants becoming waterlogged.
The next easiest method is to attach the small internal grill lifter and place the pot/pots of herbs, fill the reservoir with plain water until the grill is covered, keep doing this periodically, until the roots have grown through the base of the pot and through the slots into the tray below, at this time you just need to add water through the grill into the tray below.
Another method which is similar to the one above involves putting a sheet of paper towel on top of the grill, then covering the paper towel with a thin layer of vermiculite, then optional pelletised organic based fertiliser, then covering with another thick layer of vermiculite., Place your small potted herb and then optionally sprinkle seeds on top of the vermiculite e.g. red clover will give a nice covering effect or you can use Basil as well, spray the seeds then cover again with the vermiculite. This leaves a small rectangle section at the front where you can see through the grill, allowing you to add water more easily. At this stage you would initially add water mixed with nutrient until the vermiculite is thoroughly wet, this will allow the small seeds that will form a green mat around your pot plant to get started, but once this has begun you can revert back to just plain water (assuming you’ve used the pelletised fertiliser).
And of course you also have the option of growing the plants from seed or repotting into a larger pot again as illustrated in the slides.
The kit contains: –
Base kit for Potted Plants 3x Shelf, 1x 330x245mm trays(Green or Yellow), 1x 100W LED Panel. 1– medium height 2– 100 W light, 3– 250 mils of organic sprouting nutrient, 4– 1 Microgreen tray choice of colour, 5– 2L of vermiculite growing medium, 6– 1 insect trap, 7– 250ml Org. based fertilizer pellets, 8– internal lifter set, 9– Optional Base Plate with extension feet, 10– adjustable height cord for alternative hanging option, connects to steel support wire 11– steel wire and hooks for alternative hanging option,  12– connecting plate with screws allowing you to connect 2 or more lights together.
The default height of the shelves is 390 and 330mm if you would like to substitute smaller shelf heights e.g. 320 and/or 260mm then please let us know immediately you’ve placed the order either by going to the checkout option and entering the information in the Order Notes Field, or use the Contact Us form in the footer of every page. The feet add an extra 30mm to the height of the stand.
The reason you may wish to change the height of the shelves is you want to add extra shelves on top and you want to conserve the vertical space and the pot plants you are going to grow are more bushy then height driven. Also you could select to have a high upper shelf and less height in the lower shelf, meaning you’d start your plants off on the top shelf and as they got closer to the light you move them to the based shelf.
